A while ago I created some Veggietales buddy icons for AIM (well, really for Trillian). The images will all have come from other sites, but I think I was the one who turned them all into buddy icons. I’m going on Holidaty to New York at the end of September and, to get myself in the mood (like i need any help) I made myself a New York Screensaver(3MB) using images I took last year. I recently bought myself a copy of Flashwiz, and used the imagewiz part of this to create the screensaver (even although I had to do some workarounds to get thigs to work properly)
I don’t htink I’ve mentioned befeore that I’m a Big Brother fan. My favourite this year, for lots of reasons, is Cameron. One of the things that impresses me the most is how he has behaved. He is a Christian, as am I, and I’ve often wondered how I would behave if I went in for Big Brother (not that they’d pick me.) I reckon if I could act the way he has in the house I’d be pretty satisfied. It’s a huge amount of pressure and he’s shown a difference in him. I’ve been impressed.
Right now, according to Digital Spy he’s waiting to go to South Africa. He’s wandering round the reward room humming and singing songs. So far I’ve recognised:

Igby Goes Down stars Kieran Culkin, Jeff Goldblum and too many other famous people to mention. It’s a story of a young man with a dysfunctional family who escapes to New York.
Either I’m too stupid, or this film’s not as great as everyone says. It could easily be the former. I’ve read people comparing it to Catcher in the Rye but then I hated the kid in that book too.
The film isn’t all that bad and the performances are all really strong. It has some really good lines and some interesting scenes, but I just felt like I missed the point. I won’t be watching it again.

Summer Things is a french film about a group of friends and acquaintances and how their lives unfold during a week’s holiday by the sea.
I liked this film a lot. We got offered free tickets and went to see this on Saturday night. I was a little worried, having seen the trailer, that it would be full of sex scenes, and I’m easily embarassed, but it wasn’t. It was lots of interesting stories well mixed together and told with a lot of humour.
It’s wickedly funny, somethimes literally so. Some of the lines make you gasp that someone can say that, and some of the humour is in such harsh circumstances.
I haven’t done french since school, but even with subtitles this was a great movie, and it was really well played. Well worth a watch

I took the wav file from my previous post and converted it into an .mmf file for use on some of the newer phones (including my Samsung t100). I’ll try and do better later (it’s very quiet) but here it is: Download file
I found this link for a CTU ringtone from ’24’. It’s only for a nokia phone, but he has a wav file of the sound. I think I may be able to convert this into an mmf file for my phone – I’ll find out when I get home tonight.
