I spent a while looking for a pixel art orange to use as an icon for the page, but I couldn’t find one that suited. In the end I did one myself in Fireworks. Worked out pretty well, even if I do say so myself.

I really enjoy playing around with Blogshares. It’s even more fun since this nice lady gifted me shares worth about 90,000 blogshare dollars. So I’ve been buying and selling like a wild man. It’s so much easier to make money when you have money to invest. I am going to look around for ways to gift shares to other blogshares users so that I can “spread the love”

Phone Stuff
as I’ve mentioned before, I have a Samsung t100 mobile phone. One of the things I really like about it is that I can connect it to My Serial port and upload Images and ringtones. I am also a big brother fan, but didn’t want to pay for a logo. I found an image on the site of the company which designed the logos for the series (I can’t find it any more) but here’s the screensaver image I made from their files.

Video Test
Last year I went on Holiday to New York, and I had a ball. I took about 400 pictures, which came out well and some digital video. The quality isn’t great, it came from a digital stills camera rather than a digital video camera. The volume’s also kind of loud.
The video is of a band playing jazz in Central park. The guy in the blue jacket is playing two trumpets simultaneously. It was pretty cool.

Bizzarre Spam
We got some spam at work today. not unusual for the number of mailboxes we have. Thi one was in french. It was just one line of text, in Spanish, offering (and I checked this with a spanish colleague) “A vegetable version of the Karma Sutra”. ? ? ? ? ?
